One of my duck eggs pipped while I was at school. I don't hear peeping or see much rocking but I haven't seen any progress in at least 4 hours. I'll check again in the morning but should I do anything now? And if there's still no progress by then, should I do anything then? (day 24)

Ducks take longer to hatch than chickens. I'd be patient. The silence you hear is because they take frequent breaks while working on getting out.

Just because they're not out in 24 hours doesn't mean they necessarily need help. You don't want to ever help them out if they are actively working on it themselves.

Should there be no further action though and you feel you need to help, here's a great article that will help you do it.
