Chilling with my peeps in Boring, Oregon.

Thank you! My boys are spoiled. I rub oil or neosporin non-pain relief on their combs if it's a threat. Or even if they are getting dry. The boys love their spa time. Beau, my BPR roo is young and even though he roosts outside in the covered run as opposed to inside the coop, he has had no trouble so far.
Man... I put petroleum jelly on my cockerel Tango's comb, but he still got it:(
I don't know who you were asking since the other person answered, but I got my drop-dead gorgeous blue partridge Brahma, Irene, from Marilyn Kosel, Head in the Clouds, in Newberg, OR. She is worth her weight in gold since she raises many chicks for me. Last brood, she adopted 22 chicks....
Thanks! I was talking to you:)

It could be a moisture issue then.

I just ordered some buff-laced Brahma eggs from Three Willows Farm, in Maine. Can't wait. There are so many beautiful Brahmas out there. Marilyn's are really nice, and closer to you, shipping-wise. What kind of Brahmas do you have?
