When I know I have babies coming in the mail (USPS) and a confirmed ship date/approx. delivery date to my post office from the hatchery, I call my post office and tell them the expected dates of my babies arrival and TO CALL ME WHEN THEY ARRIVE! That way I figure they know I am looking for them to arrive. I don't trust my mail man to deliver them at all...it's hard enough for him to get the right addressed mail in my mail box. UPS delivers to my post office two times each morning with livestock...at 6:00 a.m. and then after 10:00 a.m. So, if I haven't heard from them by 10:30 a.m. I am on the phone calling them. This process worked for the two different delivery dates of my babies.
