Chinese geese

When I know I have babies coming in the mail (USPS) and a confirmed ship date/approx. delivery date to my post office from the hatchery, I call my post office and tell them the expected dates of my babies arrival and TO CALL ME WHEN THEY ARRIVE! That way I figure they know I am looking for them to arrive. I don't trust my mail man to deliver them at all...it's hard enough for him to get the right addressed mail in my mail box. UPS delivers to my post office two times each morning with livestock...at 6:00 a.m. and then after 10:00 a.m. So, if I haven't heard from them by 10:30 a.m. I am on the phone calling them. This process worked for the two different delivery dates of my babies.

I have a pair of white chinese geese and they are friendly to me but they do their job for intruders. I wanted mean geese.

I have 5 white chinnese hatched March/Apr /11 ,my first geese. They all 5 come up and all around me ,I can pick them up and pet them . But everyone and anything else is an enemy and they attack without limits . Anyone with me is ok , but they must stand close . It took me almost 2 weeks to get them to the pond about 50 yards behind the pens , now that is where they spend the day , but around 5 to 5:30 they are at the gate to get back in the pen. They get along fine with the freerange chickens ( bantams ) and the goats , .
have 3 frmale and 2 males (I hope) only 1 female is a stand off .
