Nothing here. Thought I swear I heard cheeping twice, went into the laundry room and nothing, so I am sure I am hearing things. Today is day 20. Nothing in the eggs. I hope we are doing everything right.

My pip is still doing nothing apart from panting, been 24 hours since it pipped now, getting antsy, none of the others are moving and no one is making a sound

EDIT: My pip is zipping!!!

Why not just start a new one. It takes a long time to go through a ton of replies and most of us like following but as we all know could take a lot of time to go through all of it. Just my 2 cents.

He will start a new one, just hasn't done it yet. It will be sometime today. Keep an eye out for it!

It was hard leaving for work today. Before I left a 4th chick hatched. 1 was starting to zip and 2 others were pipped.
I am typing on my cell while on break.

3 of the chicks are black looking and 1 is yellow.
I can't wait to get off so I can see them again.

This morning woke to an ice storm and a chick.

Of course, it wasn't the king size pip egg, but one that went during the night. That king size pip has zipped and the occupant is cheeping away quietly while it's
sibling is yakking for it to come out. Right now the chick s on top of the egg trying to talk it out!

The rest of the eggs are quiet. I wasn't expecting anything until tonight, so I am surprised at the early activity.
Maybe they started developing in the shipping box?

Hi everyone.
Only have a minute.
The only thing happening here is I am pooped..........
no pips.no peeps.........................
got to bed very late after feeding kid goat..........
up at 4:30...took care brooder duties, checked inc.fed goat.let the dog out..................
I cannot figure out how I ever had time to work

Soory for the lost chick. Had the same sitution Christmas.
Almost zipped, then passed before it finished.......
did the guilt thing for a few days..
but we cannot go back for redo's.
I have helped three times in the past and everyone of them were weak
or deformed and none made it for more than a few days............
Hard to know the right thing to do sometimes.

Congrats to everyone who has chicks already!

Remember pics! Keep the faith to those that are still waiting. It is hard watching everyone else's chicks hatch and yours just sit there but just keep waiting. Late hatches happen! Good luck!
