Chipped an egg, what do I do?

Hi guys, I haven't hatched chicks for a long time but yesterday while I was moving the eggs under my broody one got chipped. It's not a big dent but I still feel really bad about it. Is there anything I can do? Like put tape over it so it won't get dirty or anything?

I don't know if you have seen colored chicks. From what I read, they poke a small hole in the eggshell, then inject the die, then they put a small tape on the hole to seal it. Both the die and the hole do not hurt the potential chick. I would imagine your accidental dent can be fixed the same way, with a small piece of tape. Good luck with your hatch.
