Hi there,

We noticed our beloved Honk has a bit of a crack in his bill. Unsure how, but there is no sign of blood and does not seem to be causing him any discomfort (eating, drinking, and causing adolescent trouble at per usual) but we do want to make sure that we give him the proper care he needs whether it’s leaving it be, tending to ourself or getting him to the vet.

Please let me know what y’all think! at the end of the day I take most things with a grain of salt and know his treatment plan is our choice and ours alone but I’d like some validation in my panic or relief if it’s not *that* big of a deal. Tysm!

I think the main concern is if he snags it on something and pulls more of it off. You could have a vet trim it so there’s less chance of that happening but otherwise it’s not too deep and should heal up fine.
