My Ams are finially starting to lay!!!!!!! Yay!!! First eggs are in the bator for the Lav, Lav split to silkied and lav, and a pair where the roo is split to choc and silkied and a CatKai split to silkied pullet. The pen with silkied splits with the mauve boy and mauve girls hasn't started quite yet - but soon!!!!!Anytime!!! Whoot!

I'll have 4th generation chocolate AMs in about a month or two. Are you looking for eggs, chicks, or starter?

Or anyone really. I am intriqued by the silkied gene. My original ee hen had silk feathers on her back and little strings that poked out through her hard feathers elsewhere, and at least 4-5 " long butt feathers! I lost her and her daughters and am really dying to know if this is the same as i had wanted to encourage that in my line. They were very nice girls personality wise and as friendly as cats.

FBL - this thread is on any choc/mauve Ameraucana, focus on the color - some of us are working with both hard and silkied feather in chocolate, at least I am.

Im in Tucson, Arizona. So far i got one hen that's laying every other day. She's been with the Chocolate rooster for a couple of weeks. Im testing an egg right now for fertility. Hopefully my other hens start laying soon.

just lost my silked amerucana.. Looking to replace her .. interested in chicks or eggs.. please keep me on your radar for these in future..
