Chocolate Orpington Rooster!!!!!!!!

Hi, I have a Chocolate Orpington Rooster and Hen and I want to have some chicks but the rooster has some red neck feathers and I want the babies to be pure chocolate so if I breed the pair will all the babies have red neck feathers or just some? Thanks So Much!!!!!!!

It does get passed on. His sons will likely express the red coloring, while the females will carry it and pass it on to their male offspring.

Could just be fading from the sun. Wait till he goes through a molt before you decide to keep or rehome him.

I hope it's just the sun, I may go ahead and hatch the chicks and keep them and not sell them but at least I have some chocolate chicks that aren't from him!!!!!!!
