Chocolate partridge wyandotte 2/3 week old chicks

I have 2 chocolate partridge wyandotte and I have noted a huge difference in their wing feathering. I'm curious if this is a secondary sex sign? Or just random.

Wyandottes are slow-feathering birds, so males should be slower-feathering. But a lot of people don't breed for that trait, so there's [EDT: fair] odds that it's just random.
