Chocolate Silver Laced Orpington

Another new breed for me this year - some photos taken today of cockerels and pullets in the flock. Today is overcast so some of the chocolate colorations are really not as pronounced as they would be if you saw them first hand.

Pretty little things aren't they? I have Silver-laced and a really nice F2 Blue Silver-laced. The Chocolates never seem to photograph well. It always seems like online they are kind of meh, but in person, I actually kind of like them. lol I keep telling myself no, though. I don't need more varieties. lol

Always enticing to potentially add a new variety or two to work with - especially fun aligning potential breeding pairs if there are traits you might want to improve or maintain.
