Hi Everyone,
I am located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. I currently have 9 hens and 1 Rooster. 1 Brahma, 2 Easter Eggers, 1 Leghorn, 3 Welsummers, 2 RIR/Wellie crosses and Rooster Cogburn (Wellie). 2 Horses, 2 Goats, 2 Dogs, 3 Cats and a very patient husband.
I was given the first 4 hens (there was 5 but the eagle got the other Brahma), when a girl I worked with got bored with them. The others I have purchased locally. I am hoping to breed Wellies but my egg customers love the different coloured eggs so who knows. I recently purchased two goat kids, Nubian/Boer crosses, to start my own herd of brush clearing comics. Between the chickens and the goats I am constantly entertained. Who could ask for more! Sheila
