Choose the automatic door

I'm choosing the automatic door for our chicken coop, I've seen different models, different prices and features.
Which one do you recommend me?

Pullet Shut automatic door.
Not guillotine style so it won't catch a chicken by mistake.
Can be set on a timer or scheduled to open with the light.
Can be plugged in or battery operated.
I adore mine!

T50 Run Chicken for me. It's most similar design to the Ador vs others, but cheaper

Helps to know if you have allowance for the door to slide up and down, or sideways, or swing in and out. As well as the power source needed, and preference/need for timer or light sensor.

I always say to make your own. It isn't that hard. However there are a couple of brands that, if I were to actually buy one, I would consider. Those are the Ador and Run Chicken brands. .

Then there is this one for the price and the fact it has all you need to setup and it takes up the least amount of space to install and operate.

Again I am going by what I see and read. I make my own systems for myself and local people. I have replace several commercially purchased doors like the pullet shut doors that don't last.

I have had an omelet door for almost a year. I have been impressed with it - it even continued to work when it was -30c. Expensive, but so far worth it.

Really like the ADOR1. Made in the US and built to last. I mounted mine inside the coop and added a remote light detector for sunrise and sunset as well as a remote door opener button for outside the coop opening and closing.

I also have the ADOR1 door and highly recommed it. runs on a 6V lantern battery. i've had my door 2 years with no problems and have changed the battery once
