Hi, I need help choosing a breed, brand new to caring for them.
First, I want a breed that is easy to handle, not nervous.
Second, their primary purpose is for eggs, but I don't need a prolific layer.
Third, What are common problems with feeding and watering?
Thanks!

Welcome. I always recommend buff Orpingtons, they are a great all around breed.

The main problems with feeding is to not be feeding rodents and vermin. For water it's always providing clean water, so if the coop isn't near an easy water source it can be a bit of work getting it there daily. If you are in a cold climate you need to deal with freezing water.

This is great advise. I also like brahmas.
