Choosing a chicken!

Im getting baby chicks soon i want some fancy ones though but not bantams im already getting a silkie, Is there any fancy egg layers out there? I know bantams lay eggs but there really small! Thanks

Blue Laced Red Wyandottes are very pretty!

Look in to silver wyandottes. They are good layers (light brown eggs),sometimes raised for meat, and also very beautiful show birds.
My opinion is that the silver and golden ones look best but there is also a blue version. Dominiques are also great layers, docile and show birds. Plus if you want to help prevent their species from further endangerment you can raise one of those.
