Choosing a Roo

Hi.
I took on 11 sexed roo's at about 3 weeks old and raised them with my main flock of 8 hens with 3 turkey hens and a tom. what a group, let me tell ya. After about 4 months we have already culled 4 for dinner and the remaining 7 have been isolated for about 3 weeks now as the hens aren't very safe otherwise. NOW, on the flip side, i ALSO have a dark silky "roo" (my original) with 2 old english brothers added 2 months ago, (one must be a bantam because he's a miniature of his brother) the bantam we call acme is very sweet and docile. very good with the hens and also great with my dark silky. the dark silky is also a great roo, loves the hens and is ok to me, sometimes even a bit sweet. the other old english and roo (silky) fight, but can live together as it's never very serious and the english gives way. SO, aside from my "meaties", i would definately say you can have 2-3 roo's and have peace with the right situation. that's my view anyways.
