Choosing eggs to hatch this Spring

So I got a buddy that’s giving me some hatching eggs and he has a lot for me to choose help me narrow it down to aleast 2 breeds These my choices white, black, and wheaten ameraucanas. Crele oegb, splash/blue silkies, and dominique bantams.

Have you defined your goals ? The Ameraucanas will be the best egg producers and possible dinner. The bantams are primarily for 'pretty'.

Reliable layer and good broody hen as well that’s a great mom I know wheaten Ameraucans breed true to where hens be wheaten and the rooster color show young

I would go with the amercanas and silkies... The silkies are AWESOME when it comes to being broody and the amercanas would be a great egg layer!

Does the wheaten breed true
