Choosing Silkie Colors ~ Help please!

I have pics of several different varieties in my photobucket account, in my sig line.

Single comb is a recessive gene, meaning it can be present in a line, without showing itself. The only time it would pop up is if both parents carried the gene, and even then, it would only show up 25% of the time...50% of this crossing would carry the gene and have a walnut comb, and the other 25% would not carry the gene.

Here is a young Splash that hasn't filled out yet. Now, at a year old he is gorgeous!

I have been told there are lethals in breeding Splash Silkie to Splash Silkie but I don't know the details. I did have some white chicks I bought that had shaky head syndrome but they all eventually grew out of it.

Reds and Splash are my favorites.
