We recently separated the Rooster from the nine hens. He was stalking me and being quite rough with the nine females. Now he has alot of interaction between runs, just no breeding.i
He has a lovely coop, and run,has used the coop in the day time. But he refuses to use coop at night and instead uses top of coop. What do I do?

Thanks, but I should have mentioned we did that for a couple of weeks. Always had to chase him down and catch him, he never went with less fight in him. Then when we left coop open he returned to sleeping on top of coop.
The only thing I can figure is he's keeping his Rooster Eyes on the big coop with the hens, who he still thinks are his.
