Hi everyone,

so a few weeks ago we bought two new chicks. Unfortunately the feed store only had 'assorted bantams' so we had to guess on breed and gender. Yesterday when i looked at them i could see an almost bald spot in the middle of their heads and it looks like a comb is growing. Does this for sure mean that they are males? If they are, what should we do with them? ( we only want/need pullets)

THANKS

If you can post some photos of your peeps someone on here may be able to help, but most likely if they're only a couple weeks old you'll need to wait a while longer to determine gender. But, the presence of a comb does NOT mean they're automatically males.
