...NOT to buy anything made in Asia!

Can you do it?

I don't even know if I can since we have a 3 year old. We were in Wal-mart the other day and he was adamant about a silly plastic mouse that poops candy. I caved, and even opened it in the store. It broke within 2 seconds, and I swear it says "Merry sweat town!"

Going to start my shopping this year on Etsy

I'll take that challenge!
No problem really... I am giving out baked goods this year.
I should be getting a canning book & some nice earrings
To the family, some home made items and maybe a ski trip.

shouldn't be any problem to continue my protest!

no problem for me.......I give CASH as gifts. No one ever asks for the darn receipt for that gift to return!!! Makes my life easier!!!

Ummmm.............no..............

I have my gift plans:

Dad- flashlight
Mom-perfume
Brother- lion model
Uncle Jay-toy gun
Grandma- dress (you never see old ladies in dresses!

)

I have no idea how I am going to take that challenge and get my shopping done....

All homemade gifts here too except for my DS and I have no ideas there yet! 15 is such a hard age. The "toys" just get more expensive !

i dont see what is wrong with stuff from china..i have tons of it and it works fine for me.

I am game!!!

Handmade is how I am going this year. I found my fabric stash cleaning the attic. Fleece, dress fabric, calicos.............

I have also made wine and jam this year. And my famous Linzer Star cookies. They are ALWAYS a big hit.

Interesting.... at least it'd be easier than going all USA made. Now that's a challenge!
