Christmas Dinner - What's on your Menu?

Christmas is always ham here. I make a pineapple filling, and whatever else strikes my fancy.

When should I arrive? My DH wont eat seafood, so I'm always looking for somewhere to have it. lol

I've got a list written down. I planned on doing Xmas Eve brunch at my house again, but DH is working and not up for it. We may have a post Xmas holiday party or something.

Christmas dinner will probably be ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, homemade biscuits or rolls and several desserts to choose from.

I'm not christian, so we celebrate "The Season of Lights". Hanukaha, Kwansa, Christmas, Yule, St. Lucia. We decorate the house with something from all of these traditions

We have our biggest celebration on Christmas Eve. I cook enough that will get the hubby and I to New Years!

Baked Ham with all the trimmings, pineapple, cherries, etc... (just got a whole ham that was marked down! Ended up with 7 ham steaks and 4 small hams out of it!!

Potatoe Salad
Cole Slaw
Roasted root veggies (carrots, sweet potatoes, turnips, parsnips and probably butternut and acorn squash)
Several sweet potato pies (hubby claims that they are both a veggie and a desert so he gets 2 peices!

Because people won't put the time and effort in that it takes to raise a goose for the table. They are pretty much the easiest fowl to raise as they will graze on pasture for most of their feeding needs.

My Christmas geese are $125 each. Pasture raised and grain fed.
