It is beyond addicting!!!!! There is a facebook group dealing w/ millefiorri and specifically the La Passacaglia and others on epp in general, once you start you can't stop!!!! These fussy cut rosettes are especially addicting. If you internet search the images you will be hooked!

But it is mindless TV work, no big machine, just a baggie and a few scraps of fabric and a needle.

Well, I thought I had my mug rug all figured out but then I did an unrelated search for something else and came across a cool "tongue and cheek" idea for the mug rug. I think it will still need to mostly be hand work, b/c in order it make it like it is in my head it will need mostly applique and I am horrible at machine applique.

No problem...no biggie...I do have a lot so far and also five bio children ...then two step daughters that are just like my own,I helped raise the youngest...lol the one with two children in two years....well three ( ACTUALLY) we lost little Adrienne at only five hours old, so we are super grateful for the next two...bless her heart she was pregnant for three years straight. Then the other daughter had a little girl... Now my son is having a little boy....babies every where...I am blessed and now I have four more children that I'm sure will have more eventually,two are still in high school..lol maybe they will pass some of this stuff on so I can just make personal stuff. They need to hand some stuff down!

Lovely pics.I love the little turtle, my machine is old and seems to get upset if I try to satin stitch anything. Course I love the quilt too. I know about the projects, I finally made myself a lap quilt. My kids have not started yet so I hope to have your problem one day but have more projects than I have time then my DS decides I need to have a quilt ordering shop on line and he set me up with one, REALLY, cause I made him a quillow with his and his girls pic in the middle and he said this is the money maker right here. He doesn't understand I don't really want to sell my stuff, that it makes me happier to make and give it away, guess then they can't be picky about what they get. Then you get into I want that and can you do this.

Yes yes I understand...but mine is getting crossed up anyways and with lay offs, it all helps.
