Christmas lights

Before I moved to my teeny town, I always did a huge light display - one year I won a ribbon!

Now that I have the perfect farmhouse to decorate my darling man is worried about the electic bill (and I have FOURTEEN 1'x 3' x 1'-ish crates of Christmas decorations PLUS several wreaths and a Christmas tree for every room!)

Obsessed? Who's obsessed?

living in the country not many people to see outside lights but I line the drive with a few trees all in white lights. They are so pretty when you pull in that it gives me the warm fuzzies... so they will go up this weekend.

Walmarts lights are expensive! I just looked online at lowes and homedepot...

I put mine up the weekend after Thanksgiving. Usually the weekend before Thanksgiving is nice and warm, and the weekend after Thanksgiving is blustery with sleet ... but there's no way I'm putting Christmas lights up before Thanksgiving!!!
