christmas?

Pics
Petco and PetSmart usually have "pictures with Santa" I'm sure they would love to see the ducks. Although, there's usually a bunch of cats and dogs there for pix. Could prove to be an interesting experience!

that would be so cool, but i’d just be worried about bigger dogs (which my ducks are afraid of) scaring or trying to hurt the ducks

Please be careful. Wrapping paper is one thing but make sure that ribbon, pieces of decorations, ornament hooks, artificial berries or "snow" etc are not accessible. A fun thing can turn into tragedy if not careful.

if we do bring them inside, we’re probably gonna put baby gates around like 2-3 rooms that they can stay in when we aren’t with them

this is what the ducks will stay in overnight (incase anyone was wondering) we have a couple from when we fostered puppies (which we wanna start again soon!) that we are gonna get out and setup for the ducks to stay in overnight

Bring your own blanket/towel and let them ride in the cart. Chuck and Buck love to go to our Petco and they cruise around in the cart. The towel/blanket catch any rogue poops so it doesn't get in the cart or on the floor.

we might try that! do yours use harnesses?

also i have another question, our ducks winter coop is predator safe except the bottom (because it’s dirt because it’s a garden) so would animals be able to dig underground?

Yes they would maybe consider a wood floor even pallets would work then cover with sheet vinyl to keep the wood from getting wet. Works here.

I dug down 2 feet and stapled hardware cloth all the way around the edge of the coop and run. I also dug down a few inches inside the run, laid hardware cloth flat, then backfilled with pea gravel. Easy to spray down to get rid of mess. Will cover with litter when it's colder.

If you haven't worked with hardware cloth before, just get small gauge, gloves and a nice pair of tin snips. All available at TSC.
