Present shopping is all done and dusted. Big clean today and food shopping later. Then tomorrow is pressie wrapping/getting merry day.

Happy Christmas to you all.

No. I am not finished shopping, I feel like my family doesn't want SO and I there, and it's going to snow, so travel to his family's house (because I love his family and we are more than welcome there) will be dicey.

Bah humbug.

Me too! We have a christmas eve party every year. Still got lots of cooking to do and oh, need to go on the beer run!

LOL

The wife shops for christmas all year long. By the end of october, she's all done. there are just as many sales during the year as around Xmas.
Plus it's not as painful financially.

Cookies are done, kids are done, parents are done, husband...not done. And off all day tomorrow, so I'll have to let him see the rest of his present (which is food anyway!). We try to keep it simple every year, and every year I'm grateful for that, though it's getting awkward as they see their cousins with piles of presents. We're into the "possessions do not equal love" talk every year.

Need to stuff stockings, toss dinner in the oven (defrosting), make a salad, and roll/bake the cookie dough from the fridge.

That must wait, though, as I am MADLY cleaning house (well now I'm eating a sandwich)

Was going to be a quiet Christmas until I heard those words on the phone this morning " See ya in six hours, I'm at X location now."

Eeeeeek.
