1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.) WILD MUSCOVY DUCKS
2) What is the behavior, exactly. Lameness usually only one leg and will eventually resolve. Open mouth labored breathing which never resolves. High respiratory rate.
3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms? Approx. 6 months with few deaths.
4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms? Yes, moorehens, florida mottled duck, mallards, etc . . ,
5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma. No as is pathogen.
6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation. All were very healthy prior to arrival of wild Egyptian geese which displayed the same symptoms.
7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all. wild
8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc. normal to occasional diarrhea - tested three muscovy feces and no parasites found.
9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far? For Bronson, which is now owned by me and is inside, has received: 1) erythromycin 2) tetracycline 3) Baytril (enroflaxcin) 4) nebulization with albuterol (does nothing for him) and others

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet? Been to vet and continuing to take Bronson to Vet.
11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
12) Describe the housing/bedding in use. Wild animals with the exception of Bronson. Bronson has piece of sod (grass) newspapers and doggy pads. Changed daily.

I'm sure that you're post may have been missed by those who may have information of this. I'm afraid I'm not knowledgeable regarding this disease...which is why I clicked on it to learn more. There are others who may have better information regarding this. Many people happen to be on later in the evening since everyone has chores etc to tend to after a long day at work.

@WVduckchick @Ravynscroft @Pyxis @Wyorp Rock @BantyChooks

Many of these people may not be on until later this evening. Hopefully there may be others who know about this disease as well.

I appreciate the the details in your first post, and the page of your necropsy report. It would be helpful if we could see the whole report. If you can post that I can tag some people with experience in reading sensitivities and necropsy results.
