I have an 8 month old Hen that has had awful watery diarrhea since Jan 2017. She also has never laid a "normal" egg. They are always either completely thinned shelled and broken or partly thinned shelled and partly hard shelled and usually still broken. And many times she will lay it while roosting. She is happy, eating, acting normal otherwise. The diarrhea is nearly water, so much so that for a while I thought the waterer was leaking and wetting the bedding, but I think it's her. I have inspected the diarrhea and there doesn't seem to be any parasites that I can see. She is by nature a really stressed out hen, always seems to be in panic-mode. All the other hens are fine. Please help!! Thanks so much!

What are you feeding them?

They are getting layer pellets and layer mash. I use PVC pipe feeder, so one feeder gets one and one gets the other and they can pick what they like! They also get a chicken kong with scratch in it to kick around between 5 of them and they get a handful of black oil sunflower seeds and grit every day.

Maybe she ate something that made her sick. You could try giving Apple cider vinegar in the water. Also Probiotics/yogurt mixed in some food.

I can definitely try apple cider vinegar and probiotics! What would you suggest for amounts of each?
