One peep passed today, but all the other 19 are doing great. I have no idea why this one died, I guess had a heart flaw as it showed no signs of weakness or trauma. I moved them in with some silkie chicks, quite the bunch of birds
I got four chicks from four eggs left at lockdown, 2 boys, 2 girls. The boy that came from the waxed egg has a new home, with a broody momma to look after him, and the other three are fine hardy chicks. Will post pics soon too. Love my silver laced brahmas!!
You can see my three (I gave one roo away) in with barnies, buff orps and a few hybrids... chck out the tall lanky silver/black ones giving the evil eye...
Ok Ok here are some pictures. On a ironically sad note, I did not get the first rooster of my 15 surviving birds. How ironic is that? We normally complain we get nothing BUT roosters but I did not wind up with 1....Not the best pictures, will get some good ones when I have the camera at the farm instead of my wife getting pics of our 7 and a half month son.
