Wish I'd included a picture a few days ago. At this point the feathers are starting to lay down and she doesn't look like she's wearing battle armor. Turns out my snuggler is not a buff orp, but she is quite sweet. What is amazing is that when I wrote this post, the brown wasn't in at all, just golden,which is now turning pale brown.
