I am an experienced quail raiser, but have not raised partridge before.
I was offered some chukar chicks (days old). I'd actually really only like a pair but obviously you cannot sex them as chicks. Does anyone know off the top of their head at what age they'll display behaviors that would allow me to determine who's who? (How long am I going to have to feed and house them before I can pick a pair and rehome the rest?)
Do those of you who raise them find the need for bits or peepers? I've avoided partridge in the past because of their aggressive reputations. Thanks!
