I'll be getting some chukar eggs soon as a pet. They're a really popular pet in Pakistan (where my parents hail from,) and I thought they looked gorgeous so id love to keep one myself. That being said, I've seen most Chukar owners using them for meat or eggs and It's hard to find much information about hand-rearing potential and such. I've seen videos and pictures of chukars being very hand tame and handleable, so I know it's possible. That being said, would consistent handling and feeding from a young age significantly encourage this behavior? Further, to what extent does diet influence chukar or any poultry's behavior? Id really appreciate any input and help!
