Yea we Have alot of dumb laws here too.I havent delved into rearing mountians and mearns. I love the way they both look. That is great you are having good success with em. I always liked the quail from eggs you raise cause they ar'nt nuts and are much more tame lol! Yours sound way friendly. I heard of chukars out west but didnt know of any in the east part of the country. i have a friend and hour from me that has about 15 white chukars and they are not skittish and pretty friendly.
