That's what we call them anyway. lol About 2 years ago we planted some Cornelian cherry plants. they are a type of dogwood and do well here in eastern, NC

Last year we didn't keep a close enough eye on them and the birds got most of them. This year we beat the birds! The dark berries are wild blue berries

Post what they taste like. I've heard of them, but have never had the pleasure of tasting.

Well steve... if they do well from seed or cuttings I may be calling on you for something I try here in the yard. They look lovely. Do you have a picture of the bush too?
 
Weird name? Any idea the etymology? Chupacabra is a mythical goat sucking monster from Mexico but I don't know what that has to do with Berries.
