I have a few and we call them Bush cherries.They have a great cherry flavor for cherry jelly or wine or Brandy. But they are hard to pit to make a pie filling.The pit is almost the size of the cherry.I tried one year it was a mess.It would make a great topping for icecreaM or cheese cake.

I just planted some Hansen's Cherry Bushes a few weeks ago. I don't think they'll produce any fruit this year, but I sure hope they do next year. I'm dying to can some cherries and make some cherry pie filling! That's if my daughter doesn't eat all the cherries first! She ate all my blackberries last year...
