Hello!!
My names Kait and I'm from Oregon.
I'm just getting into chickens (my coop should be done by Wednesday) and I am SO excited about it. My biggest question so far is about waterers. don't really like waterers that are on the ground, simply because they seem to step in them and get filled with shavings etc.. is it easy for them to learn how to use nipples? I'm starting out with four, a buff roo, a Ancona Pullet who should start laying in a few months, an Americauna Pullet who also should be laying in a few months, and a Silver Laced Wyandotte hen. I don't know a whole lot, but I have been doing a lot of research and am learning slowly but surely! If anyone has any suggestions or tips or comments, I would love to hear them!
