I'm glad you posted this, actually. I probably wouldn't have thought about that till it was too late. My DH and I have never been smokers, but both our families were. They rarely come up here to visit; in fact, it's been years since his family has been here, his brother never (the brother who is on oxygen and still smoking

), but now I know to tell them in no uncertain terms that they will NOT throw one butt on the ground. I wont let anyone smoke in the house already, so they'd be outside doing it.

I am a cig smoker too. For this reason I don't throw my butts in the yard so I have designated areas where I put them. Maybe start training him to do the same.

So, what do you do if you already have a lot of cigarette butts on the ground? Is there any way to pick them all up quickly?

We just moved into our new house (5 acres, WOO HOO!!!) and the previous owners were smokers and threw their butts EVERYWHERE! Gonna take forever to pick them all up.

Ok, here is what you do:

Hide in the bushes when your 21 year old brother is smoking.

When he flings the filter spray him in the face with pepper spray.
Make sure he doesn't see your face.

Now proceed to spray him down with spray adhesive. (Buy at Home Depot)

Throw lots of pine and chicken poo on him.


Get away and act like you know nothing. Be surprised when he finally
gets control of his bodily functions. Tell him he should get in the shower
quick.

Have hot sauce in all the shampoo bottles.

Enjoy the show.
