My 5 week old EE pullet ate a cigarette butt a few minutes ago. Should I be concerned? I saw her pick it up after rummaging around, but I couldn't catch her before she swallowed it (I think she did anyway, I didn't see her drop it).
My wife's 80+ year old grandmother was over, so I let the inlaws smoke in the backyard...I normally have them go on the front porch. They repaid me by putting out their cigarettes in my potted banana trees and apparently on the ground (they had an ash tray, so I don't get it). Nice thing for my toddler son to find in the backyard as well.
