Can anyone tell me if a little bit of cinnamon in some cooked oatmeal will hurt 3 week old Chicks?

They're acually leftovers as I haven't started cooking them meals yet, but that's what's in it.

I am not sure, although I don't think a small amount would do any harm? I know of someone that puts cheyenne powder in her chicken's water in the winter time. She says it helps them to keep laying all winter long!

Is that the same as cheyenne pepper?

Yes, it is the powder form of cheyenne pepper.

I've also heard Cayenne pepper is good to prevent parasites in chickens.

As for cinnamon, in humans it helps regulate blood sugar. I don't know how it affects chickens, but I bet it wouldn't hurt, and it might be very beneficial.

I'm assuming you mean CAYENNE pepper; I've heard some folks say it helps hasten a molt and keep egg production up.

Yes, sorry for the misspelling! I was spelling my daughter's friend's name, LOL!
