Cinnamon Queen Chickens

Actually, The Mad Hatcher in GA did the RIRxSLW cross last year for a short time. Got 3 pullets out of my September egg hatch and just this week the eggs are coming in.

Note that they have a Wyandotte rose comb and not the single comb, also black feathers:

Are Cinnamon chickens good layers? Are they friendly (on average). I talk to my chickens and some of them are very trusting, while others (white leghorns) aren't. My red and black sex link hens are pretty friendly.
I planned to go pick up 6 cinnamon queens this afternoon, but not sure if I want to wait and add RSL/BSL. They are great layers. My White leghorn lays an egg every day, as do the Sex links.

Chickens are the greatest!!

I've found the RSL's are great layers. My CQ's are still winter laying when all the others in the flock have dried up 'til Spring. But my superstar in the coop is the hen hatched out of a Trader Joe's egg (a Hy-Line hybrid).... Since starting to lay in May she's only missed 10 days of producing a Jumbo egg.... and she's my smallest bird.

Please be aware that Cinnamon Queens is sort of a fancy term for a generic RSL.... Every hatchery that promotes CQ's has a different lineage for them, so no set particular breed for roo x hen for crosses.

First time chicken owner here. We purchased 6 cinnamon queen chicks that were a couple of days old on Feb 22.
The local feed store we got them from replied to someone else's question about what cross they were and said they were a cross using a rhode island red rooster and white leghorn hen.
Our girls are between 6 and 7 weeks old now and we just moved them outside yesterday.
They are sweet girls who enjoy being petted. We only got females. The city we live in allows 6 adult birds and a number of babies. They don't prohibit roosters, but since we live in the city, I didn't want to subject my neighbors or us to rooster noise.
Having spent the last 6+ weeks tending the girls in the house, I'm pretty attached to them.
Seems like every hatchery has a different mix for what they call cinnamon queen.
The feed store we got ours from said they lay XL light brown eggs and lots of them.
