I'm sorry I wasn't specific enough. Back to the soda bottle waterer. How did you make that, where did you get the water bottle kit? Is it specific to chickens, or is the the standard ball bearing type waterer for hamsters and the like?

The kit came from TSC. It was $3.99--MUCH cheaper than buying the large water bottles. The only complaint I have is that the spring that's supposed to hold the bottle on the wire is too tight. So stretch it out some or use a bungee. It is a regular old hamster/rabbit/guinea pig spout with the ball bearing. The birds pick it up in NO time. I love it! I got some puzzle mats to put in my duck pen, they had gray ones and then brightly colored ones like the colors on your coop........I kind of wanted to get the colored ones, but went with boring gray. I kind of wish I had gotten the bright colors now, very cheerful and fun!
