Is it ok for chickens to eat mandarins.There is a tree in the chicken coop and we dropped some segmants and they gobbled them up. I have never heard of chickens eating citrus before

Chickens will eat everything, including baby rabbits. Mandarins probably won't hurt them if it's an occasional treat. I've never had one show interest in one of our oranges, but the cows gobble them up. Animals are weird!

It is not good for them. It is known to cause problems with egg laying.
