Hello All,

I've been outside everyday almost all day for the past week tending my girls, working on and finally planting my veggies and reclaiming the yard of our home. We've been here only since March and have managed to clean up and replant the front garden beds, dig out all of the crab grass on the front lawn, dig out and level the backyard garden area, set up the chicken house, lay out a gravel path, plant two flower beds along the chicken house and plant all the veggies. It sure didn't seem like a lot of work when we made the plans to do all of this, but it has turned into a regular little mini farm

We are still clearing out overgrown flower beds, pruning shrubs and trees, reclaiming what we can and recycling what we can't. My girls are growing and quite happy with their new home. I did have to put up netting on one side of the garden to keep them away from my corn plants--they were eating them down to the ground! One of my girls looks like she is really a he so I need to find him a home--no roosters in Tacoma city limits

So if anyone is interested in a RIR Rooster, message me and he can come live with you. I don't want any money for him, just a good home. Here are some more photos:
