City girl suddenly owns chickens!

Hey everyone. I moved to a small town from the city last October and the place I bought came with 6 egg laying hens. I had no clue how to care for chickens, so I have been learning on the.. ahem.. fly. I have found this website extremely helpful and have learned a lot already, but I still find myself with ongoing questions. So, forgive me if I ask something that should be obvious, I just don't want to do anything to harm my ladies.

First of all congratulations on your house and new flock chickens are great
Second on this site no questions are obvious or stupid so get that thought right out of your head ask away and ask as many questions as you need to too help yourself be a great chicken momma

Thank you so much for your encouragement. I do have a specific question I want to ask but I'm trying to search the forums first... having a few challenges navigating around, haven't found my specific question so I suppose I will post a new thread. 🙂
