    Hi there,

I am new at this web site and eager to get started on my "backyard chickens" but I am having a heck of a time getting in touch with the Building and Safety in my area to find out what my City Ordinance is for the amount of hens I can keep in my backyard. I couldn't find anything on-line, I called 3-1-1 they keep putting me through "Building and Safety" and I'm on hold for well over an hour. I've been trying to get through for the past week and a half.

Does anyone in my area know what the limit of hens or perhaps can give me information as to how to find out?

    Thank you in advance.
