Thank you Starshrike...Slifer was a Light Brahma/Leghorn mix...She looked like a Brahma, but had one feather on one foot and 2 on the other...LOL
You can buy diapers to put on your chicken so they don't go on the floor...
Brahmas have the Delaware pattern so they do look quite similar.

Just put a TV and a chair out there and it will be a dwelling.

I think you should argue that they are livestock that you are not making money on

That way they can be outside (like a rabbit), but you are not "making" money on them

We have an ordinance that says we can not have a livestock operation LOL I am interpreting that as one that I make money off of. So I am good at keeping "pet" chickens.
