Clam and mussels

I have some clam and mussel shells with small bits of clam/mussel still in side of them should I give them to my hens?

I have some clam and mussel shells with small bits of clam/mussel still in side of them should I give them to my hens?

Are they already cooked? If not I would bake them then crush with a hammer until they are very small pieces before giving them.

Yes that would be a great treat to give them, but be sure they are cooked and broken into smaller pieces so that they can eat them easily.
