Clean nest or leave alone

]This is my first time with a hen hatching eggs. She started out with 14eggs and I checked on her today and 2 were broken in the nest( I'm pretty sure she ate most of them) there was a small poop also. She came off got some food and water then got back on the eggs. Since this her first crack at hatching and my fist time also what do I need to do? Do I put her and the eggs in a clean nest? I'm new to chickens so bare with me but help please.

Do not move her or the nest you might up set her but yes you should clean the broken egg's out of the nest so you do not contaminate the other egg's .........

Is she eating the eggs because she is hungry or was something wrong with the egg? That may sound like a stupid question but she dosent get off the nest much.
