I know that this may sound a little silly but with all the health conscious people out there. Can any one tell me the best way to clean eggs fresh from the nesting box? I have heard just rinse with cold water and refrigerate or soap and water.

I just clean with soap and water. My friend does what Speckled Hen does.

Didn't I read somewhere that there is a blush or something on the egg that protects it and that it shouldn't be washed unless poopy? I still have 15 weeks to wait for eggs, so I'm still reading about it.
