I have seen so many supposed methods of cleaning eggs without removing the bloom, or replacing the bloom. What is the best way? What are ways everyone else uses?

If the eggs have lots of poop on them, I will wash them well with only water. If they are clean when they come out, I do not wash them at all. I plan on eating them right away so why bother. If I am selling them becuz I have a surplus, I run them thru water. I used too work at a hugh egg factory. They eggs were only rinsed along a conveyor belt type system. No soap used.

I only wash eggs if I find them where the girls roost which is very rare (hasn't happened since the Fall) ... we only get six eggs a day so our eggs don't last very long ... either we eat them or give them to family and friends (and only if they're on my A+ list)
