This is my black sex link pullet's first egg.

I understand the white speckles are just the way the bloom has been deposited.

My question is, will she likely continue to lay eggs with the bloom speckled like that?

I think it's pretty and hope she continues to lay eggs like that, that it's not just a brand new layer glitch!

Some continue to lay the same type of pattern with the egg color getting lighter over time. Others switch it up. I find the outside can change more than the general shape the hen lays. It's definitely pretty. Hopefully she keeps it up.

take pictures!
I had a couple pretty eggs, because of the bloom, and the hen getting used to what her paint colors will be. I wish I took more pics.
Below the same egg layer that laid a purple egg laid the dark brown one.

A hen laid this spotted egg, then the rest of hers wer just dark brown no spots.

My olive egger sometimes lays decently speckled eggs and sometimes barely speckled eggs so I know there can be variations. I hope this one continues with the white speckles to some degree tho!
